No buzzwords — this is exactly what the audit methodology caught, in order.

Field Note — 8LOOP Production Audit

Most "I built this with AI" posts show you a pretty screen and stop there. On 8LOOP, I run my own 13-layer audit methodology against my own production system — on purpose, assuming the AI-generated code is wrong until proven otherwise.

One pass found a Row-Level Security policy gap that, left alone, would have let one resident's data become visible to another under the wrong condition — the kind of bug that never shows up in a demo, only in real usage. Same audit found a stale, byte-for-byte-identical CORS function copied across 20 edge functions, except one — a version that silently broke preview-environment access for a subset of deployments.

Both were found, fixed, re-tested against the live database, and documented the same day — before either one cost a resident their data or cost me a broken deploy in front of a client.
